Taking the time to find a good fit is important.
In order to help you make an informed decision, I will share that I work with clients aged 16 and up, providing individual therapy both virtually and in-person in SW Portland.
I specialize in addressing anxiety and trauma. I incorporate anti-racist and trauma-informed practices in my work with each person. In this work I utilize evidence-based clinical approaches such as Emotionally-Focused Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Somatic Experiencing techniques to help clients to make desired changes in thinking and responses to challenging situations.
My overall goal with each person is to support improved quality of life and a better relationship with one’s self. Difficult and traumatic life experiences can change the way that we see ourselves and it takes support and guidance to heal and shift internalized beliefs. I would be honored to provide such support in your healing process when you are ready.
*Please note that, unfortunately, this practice location is NOT ADA accessible, as my office is on the second floor of a historic building and is only accessible via stairs. Please reach out if you have any other questions about accessibility and/or would like a referral to another in-network provider who can meet your needs.*
