The Knot celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2016. We launched a campaign, including this heartfelt video, to show our wedding vendor partners how thankful we are for their role in our mission — to help couples plan a wedding that’s uniquely their own.

Product Naming + Marketing

The Knot Hint

Role: Product name, product interface copy, promotional video scrip and product marketing.

The engagement ring collaboration tool was created to help couples find the perfect ring–together. For the “proposer,” it takes the stress and ambiguity out of ring shopping. And the “proposee” ends up with a ring she really loves (while still being surprised).

Like all of the tools on The Knot, the goal is to provide expertise, personalization, and joy throughout the user experience. The copy tone needed to be fun yet expert, delightful yet reassuring.
