During The Knot’s brand refresh, I worked with the creative director to create the 92-page brand guidebook covering everything The Knot—from brand mission, values, and voice to logo treatment and color palettes. Here are a few example pages.
1stdibs wanted to promote their New & Custom category with videos showcasing four sellers who create beautiful, handcrafted pieces. The goal was to highlight the makers’ process, artistry and global origins, creating awareness around 1stdibs selection of contemporary, artisan-made design.
I wrote simple yet powerful copy around the theme of “from their hands to yours” to drive home the storytelling that already exists in the video content. Each video ends with a call to action to drive viewers to the site.
1stdibs had the exciting opportunity to be the first e-commerce site to partner with Christie’s, the famed auction house. The exclusive collection launched on 1stdibs.com as well as the brick-and-morter 1stdibs Gallery.

In 2014 The Knot underwent a brand refresh to better communicate that it’s not only an editorial destination for wedding etiquette and advice but a digital wedding planner and marketplace where every couple can plan a wedding that’s uniquely their own.
My “wanted / found” concept became the go-to branding campaign to share “the new” The Knot with couples everywhere. Executions include these print ads as well as digital ads and out-of-home advertising.
